Thanks for visiting our site. Giggles and Grins Child Care is based in Vista CA and has been in business for over 17 years. We deliver quality care in a learning environment for children ages 3 years through pre-kindergarten. We are a private home daycare located off of Melrose on the south side of Highway 78 in Vista.

Self Help Skills

We teach and promote “self help skills”. Whether its putting on a jacket, zipping up zippers, putting on socks, tying shoes or simply washing hands and face, we work together as a team to help build self esteem and reach these milestones. My daughter has been going to Giggles and Grins for a year and a half now, and we absolutely love it. Ms. Kellie is a very warm person, and she genuinely cares about all of the children. My daughter enjoys going to daycare, and is excited to see Ms. Kellie every morning. I couldn’t imagine feeling more comfortable with a daycare than I do with Giggles and Grins.

Giggles and Grins is more than just a home daycare, it is run like a preschool. Plenty of activities from singing, reading, age appropriate learning activities. My oldest daughter attended from 9 months to 5 years old started kindergarten at a first grade level! My youngest started at 8 weeks old and still attends, she was born with some health issues and Ms. Kellie was beyond accommodating. At 3 years old she could write her first and last name, count to 20, knew all of her letters and colors. I am beyond impressed with Ms. Kellie, her staff, and how much time they put into teaching the kids versus just play time. Very clean and organized. Not only will your kids be in a loving environment but they will be well prepared for kindergarden.

Ms Kellie was the best 2nd home for our girls from the time they were 5 mos old to 4! We miss her and her family!! Our girls learned their letters, numbers, colors and were pretty much potty trained by Ms Kellie and Ms Nicki! Our girls still remember how much fun they had at Giggles and Grins and they’re now 8 and 9! We’re so grateful for Ms Kellie’s genuine caring, support and love for our babies!

We love Giggles and Grins! We have been going there for over 4 years. My son started when he was three now in 1st grade. Ms. Kellie has a wonderful pre school program. My son was so prepared for Kindergarten. My daughter who is 1 has been attending since she was 8 weeks old. I had no worries leaving her in Ms. Kellie and Ms. Monica’s care. They both truly care about the children that attend. Both my children love/d going there, I’m so happy we found Ms. Kellie.

All 3 of my kids have been going to giggles and Grins since they were infants. Ms. Kellie and Ms. Monica treat all kids like they are their own ! They reassure me and give me the confirmation that they are safe, being loved, and learning a lot. My oldest went to kindergarten Advanced because of all of the work that Ms. Kellie does with them daily. Without a doubt Giggles and Grins is not just a child care facility it is a second home and learning center for my children. Being here allows me to go to work and not worry all day long and stress. My kids love it so much half the time I cant even get a kiss goodbye :) I highly recommend G&G! Best decision we ever made!

Giggles & Grins is a loving, nurturing, and educational environment all in a family like setting. The kids are provided with lots of fun activities that engage their minds and bodies. Ms Kellie and her staff are always attentive and kind. We will always be thankful for the care we received there.

Why Vista Home Day Care

In large commercial daycare centers, different people are caring for your children daily due to shifts and high staff turnover rates. Your child is less likely to form a deep bond with the caregivers, not to mention they will likely be in a classroom of 30+ children and cared for only by a couple of young inexperienced employees. At Giggles and Grins Daycare in Vista, we have a maximum of 12 children with 2 full time caregivers that have over 17 years of teaching experience each, bringing the ration down to 6 to 1 or less.
